Boxing coach Keita Nakano

I started boxing in high school and have made my living from boxing alone for 25 years. My pro record was roughly even. Twice, title fights I had been promised fell through. There were more hard times than good ones.

I kept going because I loved the process: studying, experimenting and watching my skills grow. Along the way, I built my own system of boxing, grounded in what I learned in the professional ring.

Very few people see it through to the end. I believe that is the real difference between people who get results and people who don't. That's why I think a coach should keep running alongside the fighter.

  • Former pro boxer, ranked No. 7 in Japan35 pro fights. Traveled alone to the Philippines and the US to sharpen my skills.
  • Sparring partner for Naoya InoueSparred with the world champion on multiple occasions.
  • Joined Manny Pacquiao's camp on my ownJoined his fight camp in Los Angeles in 2019 and experienced the world-class level firsthand.
  • 3,000+ people coached in 10+ countriesNot only boxers. Champions in kickboxing and MMA as well.

Why fighters train with Keita

Information alone no longer makes the difference. What you need is coaching that helps you see it through until you get results.

Turning feel into words

"Just feel it" doesn't work. Keita breaks down why you move the way you do and explains it from different angles until it clicks. Once you can explain it yourself, you can correct it yourself.

A dialogue, not a lecture

He asks questions and works through them with you, helping you put your boxing into your own words. No scripted program. Every session is built for you.

Real experience from 35 pro fights

Ranked No. 7 in Japan. Sparring partner for Naoya Inoue on multiple occasions, and joined Manny Pacquiao's camp on his own.

A system built by seeing the world

Developed across more than 10 countries. Not tricks, but coaching grounded in the fundamental principles of how the body works.

18 years of coaching, 3,000+ people

Many champions in kickboxing and MMA as well as boxing. His coaching isn't limited to one sport or one country.

Fighters come from overseas to train with him

Active professionals from abroad travel to Chiba for Keita's coaching.

The goal isn't learning ten new techniques.
The goal is being able to correct yourself.

In the session60 minutes, one-on-one

You know what's working, what's costing you, and why. Keita looks at your stance, punches, defense and movement, then focuses on what matters most for you right now.

After you leaveAt home, in your own gym

You walk away with three priorities to keep working on. Want feedback after you fly home? Send your sparring or fight footage for video feedback.

Every session starts by deciding what you want to be able to do by the end. So you always know where you stand.
